This is a great starter recipe—each time we prepare it, we do something a little different—but here are the basics. It is excellent served with your favorite potato chips!
1 pound sushi-grade tuna cut into ½-inch squares
1 avocado
1 tablespoon soy sauce (or to taste)
2½ teaspoons toasted sesame oil (to taste)
2 scallions, chopped (white and light green parts only)
¼ cup lime juice (to taste)
½ jalapeño pepper, chopped
Mix everything together. Add salt to taste. Serve on your favorite potato chips or thin crackers, or just eat it as is.
