Rappahannock Oysters

Rappahannock oysters are known for their low salinity and a sweet buttery full-bodied taste. They are farmed at the confluence of the Rappahannock River and the Chesapeake Bay. The growers take pride in their product for its combination of mineral-rich fresh water and a hint of the salinity of the sea water. Like the Kumamotos Rapps have a deep cup.
