Tempesta 'Nduja

We found a great Chicago 'nduja produced by Tempesta. It is a slightly spicy, spreadable pork salumi originally made in Italy. From the producers:  "This is the crown jewel of our Calabrian roots. Pork, peppers, and sea salt. Delicious simplicity." Most believe that 'nduja was a poor-man’s version of andouille sausage. The Berkshire pigs from which 'nduja is made are fed a vegetarian diet and never any by-products. They live better and healthier lives.
