These whole bronzini are a little over a pound in size. If you are big eaters, you might want 2! Each fish is cleaned, gutted, and ready to stuff and cook.
Bronzino goes by many names. It's loup de mer in France, lubina in Spain, and lavráki in Israel and Turkey. It has been popular since ancient times, as evidenced by its depiction in a first-century Roman mosaic.
This fish has been so popular throughout the world that wild stocks have been severely depleted. Our bronzino are sustainably farmed in Turkey. Their flesh is delicate and buttery, and their taste is mild and sweet. ASC and MSC certified. Low mercury level. Kosher.
